RESHAT AMETI
Born in 1964. in Gostivar
Graduated from the High School of Fine Arts in Skopje and the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje, in the class of Ana Temkova.
He completed his postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Arts in Pristina, in the class of Redzep Ferry.
He is currently working as a professor of painting at the Faculty of Arts at the State University of Tetovo.
He has won numerous awards, the most important of which is from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia – the October 11 Award for lifetime achievement in art and culture as well as numerous recognition’s in Albania, Macedonia and Austria. He also participates in many domestic and international symposium and art colonies.
He has individual exhibitions in Skopje, Pristina, Ankara, Sofia, Zagreb, Shamorin, Berlin, Hamburg, Zurich, Brussels, New York, Beijing …
He has participated in more than 200 group international and domestic exhibitions in New York, Paris, Strasbourg, Vienna, Passau, Ankara, Edirne, Rome, Boston, Dijon, Trieste, Sofia, Warsaw, Gorica, Ulcinj, Tirana, Vlora, Pogradec, Pristina, Gnilane, Suva Reka …
