Price: 31250.00 denars Dimensions: 80 cm х 100 cm PANDE PETROVSKI Born in 1939. in Brusnik, Bitola. Graduated from the Pedagogical Academy in Skopje, art department in the class of Vangel Kodzoman. Worked as a teacher of art education from 1964 to 2002. He is now retired. He is a member of: DLUM (Association of Fine Artists of Macedonia) and DLUB (Association of Fine Artists Bitola). He has been the coordinator of the international art colony “De Niro” – Bitola since its founding (2005). He realized several solo exhibitions (from 1959 to 2014) in: Bitola, Kavadarci, Ohrid, Kreplin and Zagubica (Serbia), Kranj (Slovenia), Uppsala (Sweden), Sydney and Wollongong (Australia). He participated in numerous group exhibitions (from 1964 to 2004) in Bitola, Kavadarci, Negotino, Prilep, Shtip, Kumanovo, Struga, Skopje, Sofia (Bulgaria) and Istanbul (Turkey). His works have been exhibited at international caricature exhibitions in Skopje, Strumica, Belgrade, Zemun, Montreal, Gabrovo, Istanbul and at international art colonies in Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece and Romania (from 1999 to 2015). His drawings have been published in newspapers such as “Nova Makedonija”, “Osten”, “Prosveten rabotnik”, “Bitolski Vesnik”, “Bez Navreda” and in several cultural magazines as well as anthologies on Macedonian and Balkan aphorisms. His drawings can also be found in the books: “Beli misli i razmisli”-aphorisms, “Oaza na plachot”-humorous, “DUMI”-aphorisms and humorous, “Srce kuka najshiroka”-drawings (monographic catalog), Homoljski motivi ”-Drawings. His illustrations appear on the front pages of more than 100 books for children and adults. He has won several awards, including: the award “Cyril and Methodius” for outstanding achievements in education, the award “November 4” of the Municipality of Bitola in the field of fine arts, the award of the XIX Yugoslav competition for satirical drawing and contemporary caricature of “Studenski zbor”, special award at the 37th World Gallery of Cartoon “Osten”-Skopje, plaque-50 years MND-Bitola, the award “Borislav Traikovski” for the best artistic achievement of the annual exhibition of DLUB.
